Is there a way of developing plugins without using the admincp interface?

Hi,

I'm doing quite a bit of development now with vbulletin and I'm finding it a real drag to have to go into the backend and reposting a script every time I want to test things out.

Is there a way of using and activating scripts directly from the filesystem instead of having to use the backend every time?
