I had that issue, but it was because of an error during upgrade to RC2. I would try to re-run the upgrade.php and then delete SimpleBlack and reinstall it.

Side note. Everything looks good. Only issue I have is that the widgets don't really match the theme the way I would like. I don't know if its something that just wasn't touched upon, or maybe it is something I will just need to modify myself. Anyways, thank your Style.
