You still got the security token error? You can try this:
Create a new style with no parent:

Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save

Now try uploading it.

If you still have the problem with the default style and your plugins disabled, then you may want to put in a support ticket.
