Installed but what does this error mean after trying to use the facebook connect button?

Does anyone know why this happens after clicking the facebook connect button, and then when it asks for a nickname I put one in and after hitting the Log in button I get this:

Fatal error:

* Please complete the required field "Email".

Unable to proceed with save while $errors array is not empty in class vB_DataManager_User in [path]/includes/class_dm.php on line 810

Any ideas? I saw this on another post, but cannot seem to find it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance...hope someone can shed some light on this error.
