What really sucks is that if I had known this months ago, i could have just done a lease for $100 and saved $80 towards this new version. Instead, I feel like I must just hang out with 3.8 until 5.0 comes out as upgrading to 4.0 means I can no longer use CMS or mostly all of the current add ons.

Not only that, but if you've invested in your template, you will also have to shell out more money for another one. Maybe by the time 5.0 comes out, there'll be at least a couple free templates.
