The BEST Solution which will create no DB errors or issues like version issue or anything else is that:
1. Install the given product.
2. Create a new Group of Smilies.
3. Mass-Move all the Yahoo Group Smilies to the new Group
4. Uninstall the product.

If you want to host these on your own server, just download and then upload yahoo smilies on your server and then change the path from each smiley.
