My parents bought me the top of the range BBC B with 32kb of memory and a tape recorder to save programs to, and load from.
I recall getting the hobbit game, and it taking 20 minutes of buzzes and whirrs to load up onto the bbc.
Some years later I gifted this to a disabled centre, who I later found out had trashed it upon receipt, because they will not use gifted electronics.
When I was about 28 yrs old, I spotted a bbc b 32kb in local paper, with disk drives. I just had to have it !
Still got it.
Oh how I miss the simplicity of B.A.S.I.C !!!

A----freakin----men...
Love the old school. I still have "Pong" which I can now play on my Granddaughter's cell phone...but not before I enlightened her to the "app". I still wonder (worry) about where we are going....
Currently, we have only 25 GB available. We're right now using about 14 GB for Hearts4Horses.Com.
