I'm hoping someone is able to help me. I've got a new mod that creates a page featuring a listing of all polls on the site. However, user permissions were not built into this and I have no idea how to integrate them.

As an admin I should be able to see all the polls on the list, but as a user, they should only see polls from forums they have access to. Essentially the same way New Posts works... they only see posts from forums they have access to.

If you think you can help, let me know. I can work through email or PM with you to get this solved.
