You might want to start by looking in includes/xml and seeing if you can find a new xml file in there. Or, download the mod you *think* it is and see what files come with it and remove them from the server and see if the problem goes away.

But, you might want to instead put your effort into talking to your other admin. Even if you fix this issue, there is nothing to stop him from installing another mod incorrectly and causing other problems.
