John Yettaw is a neighbor of mine, (and I still drive his kids on my school bus). Today Sen. Jim Webb secured his release from a Myanmar prison. I'm sure you all have heard of John by now, he's the American that swam the lake to get to Aung San Suu Kyi's house in Burma. Suu Kyi is a very vocal opponent of the government in Myanmar and only had a couple more days of her 5 year (or so) house arrest. She now has 18 more months tacked onto that. There is now a HUGE public outcry saying that the government of Myanmar is just keeping her in her house until elections are over there.
