Sorry it took so long to reply, I didn't see your thread.

Go to AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Forums Home Page Options

"Script Name for Forum Home Page"

Change this from index to forums.

Then go to your FTP client and rename index.php to forums.php

You can now upload a new index file. Don't forget to link to your new forums address
