The mod works right, but the facebook side of this is nasty. I will see if I can get something worked up, I know it's frustrating, but my hands are tied here incredibly tight. I can't release the author's code to the public, even with mods, without permission, which I've been trying to get, but he's ignored.
I'll let you know if I come up with something, drop me a pm to remind me that you're wanting this.

I can't say as I have no experience with the WP bridge. The process would be the same though, when facebook is down, you'd be screwed.

One of the
major selling points of this application is that one login controls your facebook login and forum logins, and that one login is stored in a (supposedly) secure place @ facebook. NO editing of the user's password can be done, though you can change their email, though it's not recommended.
I use the FB login plugin to manage the login to probably 5, 6 forums outside of my own, and the convenience of having a check of "are you logged into facebook" is just nice.
