If our board, has members whos profiles, are set as private, then surely this system contradicts that privacy.

Not to mention, link backs from your site, to 99% of forums, is bloody useless, as most forums dont allow guests to view profiles, so again sites are gonna get pathetic link structure and click thrus, resulting in no exposure for the forum, and thus doing it no GOOD.

By asking members to enter their forum, their id etc that is inadvertantly REGISTERING that member with you, however you want to flannel and cover it up.

Mate, as I said ingenious idea, but the only person to gain is you. Its just another 1 million pixels wannabe mod in my honest opinion.

I respect 100% your opinion, it's your right to think the way you want. Even though, I disagree with you on 99.99% of what you have said.

I will go step by step.

1-The first thing you see on the website is that I mention that the script and idea was made by me.(I think you did not had to find out too much to notice it was mine uh?)

2-I don't lead anyone to think is a big site. It's the name of the site. And yes, the mod was made by me to work with the site.

3- If you call "Membership details" to the forum url, the description and the admin id. That is public information for anyone browsing the internet.(their forum)

4- I am not hotlinking avatars, without prior consent, that's the reason why the forum must be registered and an ID is given to the administrator before the forum can be listed at the website. Without that id, no avatars can be added.

5- About the alt text and the title text, I must give say thanks for making me notice that and that will be updated once I finish with this post. Thanks again.

6- About sites using SEF urls, that's another reason why the forum must be reviewed. To make sure that it works with my script. And if you can't find out your id, then that's a good question to ask in that particular forum. As a member of any fourm and having your account there, is your right to know your profile id, url, so you can ask to any staf member of that form. About privacy, I understand your concern, but in the profile options there is an option to make your profile private and only people that you allow can see your profile. In case the forum does not have that option and you are concerned about your profile privacy, then you shoulnd't join that fourm.

7- If you think that the back links from my site to your forum are not good because most forums dont allow guests to view profiles, that invites the guests to join your fourm if they want to see that particular profile. In my opinion that is not an excuse to say my backlinks are bad. If you want that guests have the chance to browse your forum that is completelly op to the forum administrator and for that said, I does not mean my backlinks are not efficient.

8- With the installation of the 1mfp mod witch the administrators and staff members that have access to the templates, the members does not have to enter their ids. Just with a simple click on the icon on the postbit.

9- Thanks for the "ingenious idea". And yes, it is, and it's unique on it's type. And the beneficiated is everyone, not just me.

Conclusion, If you don't like my mod, just don't use it. And if you think I am still wrong, just contact a staff member from vbulletin and report this mod. They will determine what step to take next. And I would ask you very respecfully to stop boycotting my thread.
