Oh you meant that !!! Well then answer is no it hasn't been implemented and will never be due to the way it's coded.

Changing the running time of the tasks has nothing to do with the dissapearing of the chats.

I think the chats doesn't dissapear but you're encountering the issue of chats and notifications in the same query. If you don't tick the option to separate the queries that retrieve the notifications and the chats then you'll have less chats shown if more posts or threads have been posted since the latests chats. Do you see whqat I mean ?

I tunred notifications off because in Firefox at least, haven't tried in other browsers... If I was typing a message in a forum edit box in a different tab from where the shoutbox was running my editor would freeze for several seconds, sometimes 20 or 30 seconds, every time a new notification was posted. So turning the notifications off cured that problem and also cured the shout delete problem.

I am able to reproduce both problems if anyone is interested.

Oh really ? So to reproduce the issue you would recommend me to edit a chat and wait for the chats to be refreshed ?

What did you meant by in a different tab from the chatbox ?
