akiy, the "where am I taken to after I post" issue had been widely debated on my forum for a long time. Everyone wanted something else. Some thought they should be taken back to the forum main page, some thought they should be taken back to the thread they just posted on, etc.

Eventually we added a hack to UBB that takes you not only back to the thread, but to the actual post you added (something that is elementary in vB). I haven't heard anyone whining since.
