create a new plugin that runs in a hook located at login (such as login_redirect). This plugin runs an if statement to see whether or not the user has the award you want go give out. If they don't have it, it gives it to them via a query written to the award database.

The above is what I am trying to pretty much do so when someone logs in on a certain day if they do not have this certain award they will then obtain it.
