I think there is a usergroup permission for bbcodes and smilies in the chatbox.

Well adding an option to set which alt is the first one seems a bit "rich" not sure this really is needed.

This is a known thing but it's not easy to make the save button be focused by enter. However this is fixed in the next chatbox release.
