Ccleaner and nothing beats "Brain 2009" - been using the last one since "Brain 2005" and never reinstalled Win in 4 years.
Best is to not install every tool that might look cool and do snapshots of the registry before installing something and once upon installation is completed again so you can have very clean uninstalls.
And don't use such Ram or Registry Defragmentation tools - they're all useless and do nothing. Since NT4 Win loads the registry in small blocks so it doesn't make any difference if the registry is 50 MB or 5 MB and Memory doesn't need to be defragmented - all these tools just use a lot of memory to free it afterwards that it looks you've plenty of free memory available - nothing than rubbish because this also cleans all internal caches and the good old 9x problems are gone since NT4 / 2K that the underlying DOS isn't used any longer.
