I would also like to see the option of removing the navmenu item. With just the FAQ it seems to take up space, would like to see the option to move this to the user CP instead.

Do you have a garage entry added for your garage and the entry visible to other members? The link will only show up if you have a garage entry defined and it is made visible to others.

If this is a case, as Nathan mentions, it may be a conflict of some sort with other plugins you may have. Nathan will test these against our installation and we'll let you know what we find.
