Here is an Idea for one of you Vbulletin geniuses to develope. I’m sure it will go over really well with all the owners that run VB boards, myself included.

On my board, all the members use thousands of graphics from various photo sites such as Flickr and Photobucket. As you all know, these sites are very volatile because of the people that post the pics and images. One minute they will be there, the next they will be gone. It’s a game of Russian Roulette.

I am asking one of you to build a special hack that will save a copy of any posted image from another site into a storage directory local to a site.
In other words, if I post a Photobucket image into a post, it will automatically copy that image into a directory on my server a phrase a new link to show the image, completely independent of the source. It will also grandfather in all the already posted pics before install.
This will completely fix the issue of images no longer being available.
