I know the design is not really TV like. Most of those are incredibly "busy" .The idea of the design was something very simple, not necessarily full page, but something that would be easy to navigate through. I couldn't find a design that was tv like, simple to navigate, and not "busy". To me, the idea was to present a clean layout without a lot of background noise, which this does

The tick really isn't "for" anything, more of a placeholder as it were. The only downfall I've seen with this theme is that it's table oriented, rather than CSS, which means that if one thing is out of place, the entire layout is shot.

I appreciate that, and yeah, I've put a lot of thought and time into this specific forum. For something less than a month old, I'd say it's already onto a good start, but that's just a start .
