About the update issue not sure what this is, experienced it myself one time but didn't found the cause.

Anyhow as code has been change for some of those parts in the next release, I'll see.

About the sound, you just have to replace the .fla in clientscript/mgc_cb_evo/sound

First I searched in this thread for a solution to solve this. But all I found wasn't working well for my prob.

What is a little bit strange is, that during the iniciation of the chat I have an javascript error, that a refresh of the chat isn't possible:

chatbox_refresh is not defined
[Break on this error] chatbox_refresh('forced');

He trys always to load this function from the old mgc_cb_evo.js from my previous version 1.0. But in the new version 2.3.2 this javascript file doesn't exist!?
I tried everything. Updating, then uninstallation and new installation. Then also to reinstall the old version and uninstal it otherwise, to clean the tables from the old version, and then I reinstaled the new version, but nothing. The error is the same.

As new version, I installed 2.3.2.

Do you have a solution for my problem?

P.S.: During the Update, Change to the new version I also have deleted the old files of version 1.0. Even the mgc_cb_evo_js!


I solved it by myself!! It was an error of an missing security token in my Forumdisplay! After testing other functions of my forum, I had to solve this problem. After that I tested another Instal of the MGC Chatbox, and it works fine now!!
