vb.org Archive - View Single Post - Upgrading forum... do you loose registered users?

Ok i have to renew my subscription ive bought like 4 years ago and ive decided to start up a forum again and i was wondering if i download the lastest version and then when vb 4.0 comes out will i still have all my forums / users when i upgrade? i dont plan on putting any mods/hacks on it until the 4.0 release.
