I'm getting ready to launch a new forum, and with hindsight being 20/20, was wondering from members what they would have done to their forums prior to launching. Among the questions:

- would you have changed your URL structure?
- are there any particular plugins or hacks you would have started with?
- anything else to think about pre-launch?

I'm starting with Facebook Connect, and the RSS feed function. I plan to launch in the next week, so I value any feedback.
