there were large images that were loading onto the front page and resizing, i got rid of those images i was using for the front page stories and created a smaller jpg template for repeated use.

i believe the site is readable, im running at a 1600 x 1200 resolution, and it is also readable in 1280 x 1024, it could have been one of the larger images stretching the page out. i got rid of it, check it again...

ive reduced the page weight and compared it with other gaming websites, it seems the page weight should be good now, thank you for pointing this out to me as i didn't take it into consideration.
