I've used this article provided to me by Lynne, to create an extra tab in user profiles. I really don't know a whole lot about coding using variables, so this is what I need:

[Search for all threads started by user, in forumID 12 and all child boards] [USERNAME]'s Posted Content [/End Link]

So I'll need to know how to post that specific search based on the user, along with displaying the user's name... thanks to anyone who can help me out.
