Site Name: Grace of the Valar

Description: Web site for the Grace of the Valar LOTRO Kinship (guild) on the Landroval server (please
do not register just to look around).
Most of the features (below) will not be visible to non-guild members, so I apologize. Just need to take my word on it.
Reason for Nomination: Our site is heavily modified from a stock vB install. In addition to our hand-ported theme, we have a rotating header image, and have custom-coded some additions to existing add-ons (obviously unreleased) to automate much of our application process and daily activities (confirmation PMs for each step of the process, helpful reminder notices, etc).
Our member list has been edited to include graphical representation of a few fields, instead of text. The Postbit has been edited to include profile information, and a link to the person's other web site accounts (we allow multiple accounts so people can have multiple members in the guild).
We have also heavily modified the Event Attendance mod to allow for profile fields to display in RSVPs, which help for certain events with gear requirements. We have also added custom Calendar fields to allow the event poster to choose which of those profile fields are displayed in the event RSVPs.
We have also edited our calendar to allow unregistered or regular "Reigstered" accounts (accounts who have not been accepted into the guild) to view the events on the monthly calendar view, but they are unable to view the details of the event.
When viewing a member profile of someone who hasn't logged in for 14 days, a red alert is shown at the top of the page to alert you to that, so you don't attempt to contact someone who might be inactive.
We have also used the profile fields to create an "AFK" system. This way our members can denote when they plan to be away from the game (LOTRO) for a certain period of time. Setting those fields also displays an alert on their profile, and also changes their RSVPs to display their away status. Our event coordinators can then avoid putting inactive people in their events!
We have also themed our EQDKP install to match our web site, and have also modified EQDKP (with massive help) to use the EPGP system (relational DKP).
Our kinship (guild) also boasts some of the best community members around (but I might be biased). HUGE kudos to our members for a relaxing, mature, and professional environment, and for constantly remembering that it's just a game and we're all there to have fun!
