private messaging exists (); instant messaging is worked on (to the best of my knowledge); chat room and private chat room seems utterly excessive and irrelevant to me personally. While you're at it why not add a screensaver, a wallpaper, a systray icon that lets you know when your friends are online and when someone replied to your thread, an html editor, a personal website for each user...

...hell, just buy AOL and you'll have it all!
