No question. I've contacted them about this, I've yet to receive a reply. I think we need an open list and service somewhere, but who is willing to host and maintain that?
For now, I put the power in the hands of our users in the hope that they will raise the question should a "green" domain make it into this database. Most registrations, at least here in the US, come from a few popular domains. If any of these make it on the list I am sure we will be notified by our users right away.
The risk of accidentally blacklisting a rare domain without being informed about it is surely there but it is low enough to not matter in the grand scheme of things. To us, the risk is worth not having to deal with this problem on a daily basis or have the accounts pollute the member list. For our organization this is especially important, since we need a metric of real and unique membership.
