It's possible but you need to upload flvPlayer.swf to your server!

In your Controlpanel go to your AME CP section then click: Add New Definition.

Then just fill out the form

New Media Definition
Title: <b><i>Flash Files at YOURSITENAME</i></b>
Description: Embed Locally Hosted <b>.flv</b> Files!
Display Order: 0
Active: Yes
Contain: Yes
Regular expression: ([http://]*[\w]*[\.]*YOURSITENAME\.[\w/&;%-\.]+\.flv)
Replacement:
