IE8 problem, confirmed.

My test IE8 install was using all of the defaults with no additional handlers installed so it was as 'default' as possible. I likely won't have a fix ready with 1.1.0 but I have a different way in mind of dealing with the cookie issue. I'll need to experiment a bit more.
