It's actually very easy. Look at the thread / post on the forum page - you should see "View" and "Manage." Click "Manage." Inside there, under "Deletion Status" click on "Physically Remove" then "Save Changes." You can also just click the in-line Moderation box and then scroll to the bottom, click "Delete Threads" and "Physically Remove." Both do the same thing, just different steps.
