you'll see that the author admits that there is no code stealing, just name confusion:

As for vBFClassifieds, please understand that they did not steal the vBClassified code. I looked at their free version and it is not based on the same database logic or structure. This is a completely different script and I want to make it clear that my issue was their use of the name and not the code itself.
