Right, I have set the default channel, but within usergroups I have specified a different channel as the default for certain usergroups. It worked well two updates prior to this, but now it seems that even though the option is still in there for usergroups, it ignores the start channel and goes to the system default.

I tested this and if you allow members to select their own default channel in user cp it overides the forced channel in usergroup settings.


In usergroup setting

MGC Chatbox Evo : Custom Parameters set default channel

MGC Chatbox Evo : Custom permissions Can choose its default displayed channel Y/N this should be no or it overides the above.
