To me, it looks really nice actually. You've seemingly customised plenty of things, there are no forums that have no/few posts and look dead, the forum icons are custom and likely fit the theme, and overall it works well. Smilies are also edited.
However, I do have a few, albeit rather minor suggestions. First of all, I'd say to avoid any use of default forum icons anywhere in a forum style, it's a bit of a shame to have most of the images customised and the sub forum icons being default vBulletin:
There are also a few things that look kind of overwhelming to a visitor as well, such as the extremely long welcome message which says:
Quote:
Diesel Bombers is your #1 source for *anything* you need to know about diesel - including trucks, cars, tractors, marine engines, performance parts, fuels, construction/agricultural equipment.

It looks kind of... too much for a first time visitor. For example, on my browser, most of the first screen is welcome message rather than content. On the bright side, you did use inline links to link to content that's relevent to the welcome message, so at least the block of text isn't just a very long wall of text like some cases.
Also, the rules... dear lord, the rules. Needs some kind of spacing badly, because it's pretty much a two page block of text without a break in sight that made it rather difficult for me to read. Yes, I know most people probably don't attempt to read the rules from an FAQ page, but I always like to give some form of constructive criticism rather than being completely positive in all cases.
But overall, it looks good, it's doing well, so keep up the good work with your forum!
