I'd like to request a modification for the 3.8.X series that actually disables thread bumping after X amount of days even when someone posts in it. It would be best if it can be limited to certain forums rather than the whole forum.

I've really have issues with our members replying to old threads and bumping them to the top. However I don't wish to lock them out from posting, which is why I didn't choose to use the auto thread close modification.
