That is run as part of the product xml import. Unless the instructions say anything to do with it (they dont) then there is nothing to worry about

They can coexist. If you arent getting any points from either, then you havent confirgured either correctly (they wont normally conflict unless you set vbplaza to use credits)

unfortunately no (why would i have two different methods that do the same thing?) check your error logs in your site panel (cpanel, plesk, etc) to tell me exactly what the error is when that happens - although i suspect you just have a low memory restriction.

3) That appears to be the problem of the post thanks hack, not vbcredits. If you tried to integrate vbcredits with the post thanks hack, you probably did not follow directions correctly, and at any rate should be asking for support for that addon in the addon thread where you got it from on my site. thanks!
