Is your old license an owned license? If so, you can change the URL of the old, owned license to a new domain, and set your new license to the domain of your current forum, and go through the normal upgrade procedure (75% sure on that, I've never tried changing the domain on an owned license that is out of it's update period). However if you have no use for a second license, it would be cheaper to upgrade. Shoot Jelsoft's sales team an email for a definite answer.
