Users are unable to change userids, or usernames. The only thing you would need to worry about is passwords. Doing a Search in Templates for the word password, shows me several templates, but just a couple have to do with changing the password... I think.

Try this on a new style first!!!! Then test it and see if this does what you want (check your User CP and also logout, try to login with a wrong password, and then try the link to reset your password). I've never done this and I'm not gonna test it myself, so you will have to do it.

Here's the couple of the templates that come up with a search that I think have something to do with what you want and a suggestion on what to do:

- lostpw - modify it to basically take out the form (everything between <form> and </form>, then you will get rid of the ability to request a new password.
- modifypassword - delete the contents

Also, change the phrase "email_and_password" to whatever you want.

Test that on your new style and see if it's what you need.
