It doesn't matter how long the post is, it won't go through.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM . THIS IS MY SOLUTION: TRY TO DISABLE "wysiwyg" OPTION IN VBULLTIN CONFIG. (i hope this solution works for you too)
