You know, I've found partisan rhetoric doesn't advance the conversation at all. It's not constructive. Sensible people know that some problems can't be fixed by government, like government can't make young fathers be responsible, nor can it make teenagers show good judgment with the choices in life. Tha't something a family has to make a priority to teach. Similarly, if a good chunk of the country's population are being responsible with their budgets and the resources they consume, then of course that will contribute to fixing the overall problem. You just saying "naw, he's not going to do it because he's a Democrat" isn't even a counterargument.

Well duh, doesn't take a genius to figure that out. What he has already proposed to do will do nothing to promote this "philosophy" rather dig us, my kids and their kids deeper in the hole and more dependent on government for their basic needs.

And what would that be specifically? Again, your just saying "it won't work" but not really offering a logical argument as to why, other then he's a Democrat.

And that is the cliche of all statements that someone makes when they have no actual logical argument against someone they disagree with. Do you know who is also fond of the term "lemmings" as an epithet? The neo-Nazis. They call white people who go along with diversity lemmings, because they have no actual argument as to why they think blacks are ignorant and Jews are evil. So please, don't insult me and a whole group of people just because you don't agree with them. Make your case rationally, and even if we don't agree with you, we will at least see where your coming from. That's why we left name calling behind in high school, because they don't respect you in the real world when you resort to grade school shenanigans.
