The beginning of April we're looking at making some changes to usergroups and general forums on our site. Is it possible to configure the new Forums the way we want along with the new usergroups and permissions we'll be using and then JUST move the content of pre exiting forums to the matching forum on the new site.....and then move the users as well so people don't need to re-create their accounts.

Ideally we'd like to be able to basically keep everything offline and get it all configured exactly how we want it and then just move the content.

What would be the best way to accomplish this since we'll be removing some current forums and adding some new ones along with new features.
