Guestbook System has been for 3.7 and 3.8 complete recoded there's many features I can't write all of them but look at screenshots..

i can't stop to guest to edit or delete the posts ... is because i use localhost ? i can only control if i change the Place of Guestbook to put in link in Community Links also link in Quick Links but in navbar all can control user and guests !


also if i didn't mark in guestbook Permissions the guest can see and edit the other posts from the users

look at Admincp -> Guestbook Permissions and set the permissions as you want.
There is a one thing you must know after permissions is giving Unregistered and not logged in users can see the edit/delete buttons but they have not permission to delete or edit the messages in Guestbook, if you setting the permissions no for guests
