I'm creating a new forum. Where we have normal registered users, friends, vips and admins and mods. I want the usergroups friends and vips to have a pre-defined user title. But I want to assign the usergroups friend and vip only as a secundary group, so they will have registered as primary usergroup and friend or vip as secondary group. So they can do everything the same as a registered user, but only have a different title. (Would also be nice if those friends or vips dont follow the user title ladder). However when people have a primary and secundary group, they can choose themselves which group they want to represent and thus change their title to one of the user title ladder or the default one for registered user, I don't want this.

Is there a solution to this, besides coding?

I found there's a column in the user database table called 'displaygroupid' this sets the users group he wants to represent, but they can change this from their User Control panel (profile.php?do=editusergroups), can I disable this maybe?
