I wasn't singling you out, IO. I was referring to people in general who miss out on the significance of history when they happen to be living during it. Like the people who thought Martin Luther King was a big dreamer, the people who told Walt Disney to stick to making cartoons, the people who said the country would never elect a black president. It just seems a shame the some people will miss out on that because of misplaced cynicism and doubt.
