This hack just allows you to post items of RSS feed as posts of the thread. By default you can post items of RSS feed as announcements or threads of the forum.

This hack does not change anything else.

P.S. If you want to get all content from RSS feed of vBulletin forums then you can try to add "&fulldesc=1" to the end of the link.
For example:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=1&fulldesc=1</font>
