The proper place to ask a question and receive an answer regarding a modification is in the modification thread. It's only been a couple of days since you first asked the question. You could give the developer a bit of time to respond.

I fixed it by just copying the code from the plugin above where he evals the navbar for when you are on the archive page (like you said, it works there), but I'll paste my response in the modification thread.
