I had a closer look at this and saw that this requires FC to be installed into the root of the vBulletin directory.

Perhaps I'm wrong? Is the CMS file you're referring to vbulletin38CMS.php? Are there lines I can edit in there if I want FC to be installed in the /forums/chat/ directory?
