When I read the numerous reports on this earlier today, my first question was (and still is) without knowing the actual content of the emails - which they keep stating they're not keeping - how exactly will holding the information of who sent the email, who it was sent to, at what time and by which ISP will help tackle high-level crime? I mean, I can't see many high level criminals putting "Information on that big bank heist we're planning" or any variation thereof in the title box of their email, can you?
