My apologies for double posting, but I thought perhaps I had put this in the wrong forum since I got no responses in the other forum.

The feature of displaying the list of thread attachments with the paperclip symbol in the forum index is very useful. However, the names of attachment images are not always useful. I would like to display a page similar to the current one, but fill it with thumbnails instead of links to the images with a link to the post that contains the attachment.

This seems so obvious to me that I presume someone must have already done it. I have tried quite a few searches of this site without any success in finding such a mod.

The code in misc.php is there to display the list and also to display avatars in the way I would like to display the thumbnails. However, I have never created a mod for vBulletin and I suspect this one would be too challenging for a first attempt.

Can anyone help or give advice on this? Does such a mod already exist? Why is this not an option for the feature in vBulletin?

If there is nothing like this available, I may take a shot at developing it. However, this would be my first mod so I might not do it all that well.
